One of the things that I really like about what I do is being involved in my community and meeting new people at events, like this one, and being involved in organizations like the Kiwanis, BNI, the Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Wilson, CASA, and others.
There is so much to be done in your local community and most of that involvement simply requires a small commitment of your time.
There is always something going on in Lebanon. Some of it is community minded, some of the events are fund-raising activities, and still others are just plain fun … like the Chamber Magazine unveiling.
Lebanon is such a giving community and there are so many people involved in contributing and giving back to the community. And there is so much work that goes unnoticed. Most people are giving back, not out of what they will get, but just for the sake of contributing something of value.
So if you know of someone who is giving back or contributing in some small way, take the time to thank them the next time you see them. That can be your contribution for that day.
