Networking Through BNI

I have been involved in the local BNI® Chapter here in Lebanon, Tennessee for several years and it has been one of the best things I have done for my business.

For those of you who don’t know anything about BNI® (Business Network International), here is an overview …

BNI® is the world’s largest business networking, referrals and word of mouth marketing organization. The mission of BNI® is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, and professional “word-of-mouth” program that helps them develop long-term relationships with other business owners and professionals in the area. It’s like having your own sales force on the ground working for you throughout the week to help you get more clients and more business.

The format very simple. Everyone at the meeting has an opportunity to introduce themselves. This gives everyone else the opportunity to learn more about you and your business so they can tell other people about you. Some members have increased their business 20%, 30%, and more as a direct result of being involved in BNI. It’s just one more way you have of marketing your business and getting your name out into the community.

We meet every Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce located on the square in Lebanon. All visitors are welcome. So if you would like to increase your business and network with other professionals in the area, stop by on Thursday morning and check it out.
